I am Julius Sarah Oluwaseun, a passionate researcher and biotechnologist with a strong foundation in microbiology, biochemistry, and health research. My academic journey began with a B.Sc. in Biotechnology from Ekiti State University, followed by an M.Sc. in Microbiology at the University of Ibadan.
My research interests center on biodegradation, enzymatic assays, molecular biology etc. . I have contributed to scientific knowledge through my publication "The Biodegradation of Low-Density Polyethylene Using Bacterial Plasmid in Mitigating Climate Change" on ResearchGate.
Beyond academics, I have gained practical experience as a researcher at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), where I have been involved in impactful research projects. My commitment to public health led me to community service during my National Youth Service Corps in 2020, where I actively participated in immunization campaigns in rural areas.
I have had the privilege of attending and engaging in both local and international conferences, including the Pan African University Conference, which deepened my understanding of biotechnology’s role in climate action, healthcare, and sustainability. I also participated in the Indonesia Youth Development Programme, organized by the United Nations Association Indonesia, where I contributed to discussions on youth diplomacy and sustainable development.
In recognition of my contributions to academia and leadership, I was honored with a doctorate degree in Public Relation Management from Citas Levitical University. I am also a member of several professional organizations, including: Biotechnology Society of Nigeria (BSN), National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), International British Safety Organization (IBSO), where I hold a Health Safety Executive certification, Red Cross Society, where I actively contributed to humanitarian efforts
Driven by a passion for scientific innovation, sustainability, and global impact, I am committed to using my research and expertise to bridge the gap between science and real-world solutions. Whether through policy advocacy, innovative research, or youth engagement, my goal is to contribute meaningfully to global challenges in biotechnology, climate action, and health research.
