Amole Ukamaka Faith is the Secretary of Research Hub Nexus and the Host of the Research Conversation Series (RCS), an integral part of Research Hub Nexus dedicated to scholarship webinars and training. She is a researcher in English and Literary Studies, with a particular focus on language, communication, and healthcare interactions.

Her research thesis explores how prosodic features (such as pitch, syllable lengthening, and loudness) and discursive strategies (including questioning techniques and patient education) in doctor–patient communication can enhance patients’ recall and retention. Drawing on recordings from two different hospitals, her work seeks to improve healthcare communication strategies and demonstrates her expertise in interpreting subtle linguistic and interactional cues.

Through her academic pursuits and leadership roles, Amole combines scholarship with practice, fostering knowledge-sharing platforms while advancing impactful research at the intersection of language, communication, and healthcare.
