I am Tanaya,working as a  Research Fellow from India . I work on detection of neurodegenerative diseases from the biomarkers in the tear fluid in the eastern Indian population.I am interested in understanding the genetic and epigenetic regulations of different neurodegenerative diseases. Also I have previously worked on  " Understanding the pharmacoepigenetic effect of Carbamazepine and Valproic acid ( anti epileptic drugs) in modulating the genes involved in  septal defects" . Also I have previously had research experience on Spinal Muscular Atrophy and understanding the effect of copy number variations in the carrier screening population.
